  Who knew moss could be so enchanting Seductive Entodon Moss ( Entodon seductrix ) Named Neckera seductrix by the father of Bryology himself, Johann Hedwig. The name was further refined to Entodon  seductrix  by Carl Müller. neckera = neckerchief entodon = cylinder seductrix = seductress Wikipedia data is sparse. It's appearance is similar to the Order Hypnales. I have Parkinson's, and it sucks. A lesser known symptom of Parkinson's is constipation. Sometimes it is due to medications taken and other times it is because of less movement due to apathy and depression. Then there is other times where it can just be the Parkinson's being a literal pain in the ass. I found myself not even realizing how long I was going between BMs and started worrying about it. I tried to find an app or some good way to track it but I couldn't find anything reliable or decent that I would stick to. I love Home Assistant, I could play with it all day long. I have dashboards for tracking batteries in different devices, air quality in the house, weather, even network performance. Everything but me. I worked in a nursing home for 13 years and I know how EMRs work. I could add a helper to track my last BM, and build from that alerts and visual reminders so I know how long it has been. I was driving to work this morning and feeling down. There was a Tim Ferriss podcast with Henry Shukman playing and I was paying extra attention this morning. The sun wasn't shining, traffic was unusually light, I had plenty of gas, there wasn't much to distract me from this Podcast. Mr. Shukman was talking about his experience with a boat in the setting sun and what happened as he was on the beach and had an 'awakening'. He is a Zen teacher and was sharing a lot of good information about transcendental meditation and his latest project, 'Open Loving'. Then he said something that I caught, about a book, by Natalie Goldberg, called 'Writing Down the Bones'. I have been thinking about writing a lot lately, and how I love it. I have also been trying to meditate, thinking about Buddhism and spirituality. Later at work I was taking a break and reading from 'Bird by Bird' by Anne Lamott. I love this book.
